Charles Broom impressed in the pool stage, not dropping a set in either of his games to take top spot. It wasn’t as simple for Joshua Paris but a straight set win over Llewelyn Bevan game him second place in Pool B.

Broom gets a great start at 5-2 on Paris’s serve, he gets to set point and despite being on the backfoot be converts to win the first set! Paris retired from his last match, the physio is on again here, the back issue he had might have resurfaced… He wont want to give up here at all.

A straight set win for Broom here, it was unfortunate that a back injury took out some energy from Paris’s performance but still a great win for Broom who makes it 3 from 3 in week 5. He moves onto the semi-finals!
