Jasmine Conway caused a storm on her debut match by beating Eliz Maloney. The 16-year-old can secure a spot in the quarter final with a win today.

Conway can’t hold her serve as Wilson works her way to a break point and converts as Conway hits into the net.

17:05 CONWAY BREAKS BACK 6-6

At 2-4 Conway faces another break point, but survives and comes back to win the game. She then starts to climb into the Wilson serve at 4-5 and breaks to level up the set. They are both able to hold serve and we are into a tiebreak on court 1.

17:30 WILSON WINS THE FIRST SET 7-6 (7-4) 

On Conway’s serve at set point Wilson is able to get the upper-hand in the point before Conway puts a backhand well wide. Wilson gets the first set after the tiebreak!
