11:18 HODKIN BREAKS 3-1

Sean Hodkin is also off to a flyer. An early break on each court here as we start day 3. Hodkin is all over the Foley serve and is able to hold his service game to go 3-0 up. Foley holds the next game but the advantage is all with Hodkin

11:30 FOLEY BREAKS BACK 3-3

Back in the game! Foley is very easy to watch when he is on form, here he is able to break the serve of Hodkin and get back into the first set.

11: 45 FOLEY TAKES THE FIRST SET 4-6

Foley breaks at 4-4 to set himself up for the set, and he closes it out with a routine service game. A great comeback after the early break from Hodkin!

11:55 HODKIN BREAKS EARLY IN THE SECOND SET 4-6, 1-0

Foley hits long on break point to give Hodkin the perfect start to the second set.

12:05 DOUBLE BREAK FOR HODKIN 4-6, 4-0 

In complete control of this second set, Hodkin is 4-0 up as he gets a double break up. Looking like a third set tiebreak in this one!

12:20 FOLEY BREAKS SERVE 4-6, 5-2

Not over quite yet! Foley has a glimmer of hope as he manages to break serve late on in the second. Hodkin will still have a service game to win the set however.

12:26 HODKIN WINS THE SECOND SET 4-6, 6-3

He does serve it out. We are into a tiebreak!

12:40 4-6, 6-3, 8-8

Foley races into a 5-0 lead in the tiebreak, but Hodkin battles back to 5-4 with some solid play. It’s getting tense at 8-8 as both players try to grab the mini-break that will win them this one!

12:46 HODKIN WINS THE MATCH  –  4-6, 6-3, 12-10

Hodkin grabs it! Match point for him. But he puts a backhand into the net! Back to 9-9. He manages to get back to match point and makes no mistake second time round! One the final point, a massive slice of luck as a Hodkin forehand hits the net but rolls over!
